Computer and Science Labs

Our Science laboratories were completely refurbished in 2017 and our computer labs are continually being updated with the latest ‘state of the art’ computers and network equipment. 

ICT Technical and Science Officers are employed to repair, maintain, develop and assist both students, teachers and support staff with the delivery of teaching and learning.

Students are provided with:

  • Six computer labs containing 28 computers each
  • STEM facilities and programs
  • Virtual reality room and programs
  • Printing facilities including mono/colour printers, 3D printers and a laser cutter
  • Nine laptop trolleys distributed throughout the school; three located in Junior Secondary
  • Lessons delivered with high definition audio and visual equipment
  • Up-to-date software allowing the development of audio-visual, engineering and computer skills​
  • Data file/storage (NB: students are responsible to maintain a personal backup of all their work. USB drives are on every student’s booklist for this purpose)
  • An EQ email address for the submission of assignments and other tasks as directed by their teacher
  • Significant electronic resources including Encyclopaedia Britannica, ClickView, the Learning Place, databases and e-books
  • Safe and secure access to the intranet/internet and learning resources.
